Melisende of Montlhéry
Melisende of Montlhéry was a noblewoman from the 12th century, known for her influential role in the Crusader States. Born into the powerful Montlhéry family in France, she became the wife of Baldwin II of Jerusalem, a king of the Latin Kingdom of Jerusalem.
As queen consort, Melisende played a significant part in the political landscape of the region. After Baldwin II's death, she ruled alongside her son, Baldwin III, showcasing her strength and leadership during a time of conflict and change in the Holy Land.
