Baldwin II of Jerusalem
Baldwin II of Jerusalem was a king who ruled from 1118 to 1131. He was born around 1100 and was a member of the House of Boulogne. Baldwin II became king after the death of his cousin, Baldwin I, and was known for his military leadership and efforts to strengthen the Kingdom of Jerusalem.
During his reign, Baldwin II faced numerous challenges, including conflicts with Muslim forces and internal disputes among the Crusader states. He successfully defended Jerusalem and expanded its territories. His reign is often noted for the establishment of the Knights Templar, which played a significant role in the Crusades.
