Mediterranean Dialogue
The Mediterranean Dialogue is a cooperative framework established in 1994 to enhance security and stability in the Mediterranean region. It involves NATO and seven partner countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and Mauritania. The initiative aims to foster political dialogue, promote mutual understanding, and address common security challenges.
Through various meetings and joint activities, the Mediterranean Dialogue encourages collaboration on issues such as counter-terrorism, crisis management, and defense reform. This partnership helps strengthen relationships between NATO and its Mediterranean partners, contributing to regional peace and security.
