Martin II of Aragon
Martin II of Aragon was a king who ruled from 1396 to 1410. He was the son of Peter IV of Aragon and Eleanor of Sicily. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and challenges, including disputes over succession and territorial control.
Despite these challenges, Martin II worked to strengthen the kingdom's administration and maintain peace. He was known for his efforts to resolve issues with the Crown of Aragon and improve relations with neighboring regions. His death in 1410 led to a succession crisis, ultimately resulting in the Compromise of Caspe.
