Martin I of Aragon
Martin I of Aragon was a king who ruled from 1396 to 1410. He was the son of Peter IV of Aragon and Eleanor of Sicily. Martin was known for his efforts to maintain peace in his kingdom and for his involvement in the politics of Catalonia and Sicily.
During his reign, Martin faced challenges such as conflicts with the Crown of Castile and issues related to succession. He was the last king of the House of Barcelona, and his death led to a succession crisis that ultimately resulted in the union of the crowns of Aragon and Castile.
