Marie of Cleves
Marie of Cleves was a noblewoman born in 1413, known for her marriage to Philip the Good, the Duke of Burgundy. She was the daughter of Adolphus, Duke of Cleves and Mary of Geldern. Her marriage was politically significant, strengthening ties between the Duchy of Burgundy and the Duchy of Cleves.
Marie became a prominent figure in the Burgundian court, where she was known for her intelligence and grace.
