Marie Josephine of Leuchtenberg
Marie Josephine of Leuchtenberg was born on March 14, 1807, in Munich, Bavaria. She was the daughter of Duke Eugen of Leuchtenberg and Princess Augusta of Bavaria. In 1823, she married Prince Maximilian of Bavaria, becoming a member of the Bavarian royal family.
Marie Josephine was known for her charitable work and support of the arts. She played a significant role in promoting cultural activities in Bavaria. Her contributions to society and her royal duties helped strengthen the ties between the Leuchtenberg and Bavarian royal families. She passed away on June 28, 1876.
