Eugene de Beauharnais
Eugene de Beauharnais was born on September 3, 1781, in Paris, France. He was the son of Alexandre de Beauharnais, a French revolutionary leader, and Josephine de Beauharnais, who later became the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. Eugene served as a military officer and played a significant role in the Napoleonic Wars, earning recognition for his leadership and bravery.
In 1806, Eugene was appointed as the Viceroy of Italy, where he governed effectively and promoted economic development. After the fall of Napoleon in 1815, he lived in exile and later settled in Germany, where he became a respected nobleman. He died on February 21, 1824.
