Margaret Beaufort
Margaret Beaufort (1443-1509) was an English noblewoman and the mother of King Henry VII. She was a key figure in the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne. Margaret married Edmund Tudor, and after his death, she gave birth to Henry when she was just 13 years old.
As a strong supporter of her son's claim to the throne, Margaret played a crucial role in his rise to power. She was instrumental in the establishment of the Tudor dynasty and became the matriarch of a royal lineage that would shape English history for generations.
