Malcolm II of Scotland
Malcolm II of Scotland was a king who reigned from 1005 to 1034. He was a member of the House of Dunkeld and is known for his efforts to consolidate power in Scotland. His reign marked a significant period in Scottish history, as he worked to strengthen the monarchy and expand its influence over the surrounding regions.
Malcolm II is also notable for his military campaigns against the Vikings and rival clans. He was the last king of the Pictish lineage, and his death led to the rise of his grandson, Macbeth, who would later become a famous figure in Scottish folklore and literature.
