Maharaja Dalip Singh
Maharaja Dalip Singh was the last ruler of the Sikh Empire, reigning from 1845 to 1849. Born in 1838, he was the son of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the founder of the empire. After the British annexed the empire, Dalip Singh was deposed and taken to England, where he lived for many years.
Dalip Singh was known for his rich heritage and the famous Koh-i-Noor diamond, which was part of his crown. He later converted to Christianity and sought to reclaim his throne, but his efforts were unsuccessful. He passed away in 1893 in London.
