Madhav Rao II
Madhav Rao II was the Peshwa of the Maratha Empire from 1774 to 1796. He succeeded his half-brother, Raghunath Rao, and played a crucial role in stabilizing the empire after a period of internal strife. His leadership helped restore the authority of the Peshwa and improve relations with the British.
