Maasai People
The Maasai people are a semi-nomadic ethnic group primarily found in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania. They are known for their distinctive customs, traditional dress, and vibrant beadwork. The Maasai primarily rely on cattle herding for their livelihood, which plays a central role in their culture and social structure.
Traditionally, the Maasai live in small, family-based communities called enkangs. Their society is organized around age sets, which determine roles and responsibilities. The Maasai are also known for their strong connection to the land and wildlife, often coexisting with various species in the East African savanna.
