Samburu
Samburu is a region in northern Kenya, known for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife. It is home to the Samburu National Reserve, which features unique ecosystems, including savannahs and riverine forests. The area is inhabited by the Samburu people, a semi-nomadic pastoralist community that relies on livestock for their livelihood.
The Samburu region is famous for its "Samburu Special Five," which includes the Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. These species are often sought after by wildlife enthusiasts and photographers, making Samburu a popular destination for eco-tourism in Kenya.
