Maariv
Maariv is the evening prayer in the Jewish tradition, recited after sunset. It is one of the three daily prayers, alongside Shacharit (morning) and Mincha (afternoon). The service includes the recitation of the Shema, a central declaration of faith, and various blessings.
The Maariv service can be performed individually or in a group, often in a synagogue. It is known for its flexibility, as it can be recited at home or in communal settings. The prayer emphasizes themes of gratitude and reflection, marking the transition from day to night in the Jewish spiritual practice.
