Ma Ying-jeou
Ma Ying-jeou is a Taiwanese politician who served as the President of Taiwan from 2008 to 2016. He is a member of the Kuomintang (KMT) party and was previously the mayor of Taipei. During his presidency, he focused on improving relations with China and promoting economic growth in Taiwan.
Ma was born on July 13, 1950, in Hong Kong and later moved to Taiwan. He studied law at National Taiwan University and earned a degree from Harvard Law School. After his presidency, he continued to be active in politics and public life, contributing to discussions on cross-strait relations and regional stability.
