Ludmila of Bohemia
Ludmila of Bohemia was a 10th-century noblewoman and the grandmother of Saint Wenceslaus, the patron saint of Czech Republic. She played a significant role in the Christianization of Bohemia and was known for her piety and dedication to the faith.
Ludmila was married to Borivoj, the first historical duke of Bohemia, and together they helped establish Christianity in the region. After her husband's death, she became a key figure in raising her grandson, Wenceslaus, instilling in him the values of faith and leadership that would shape his future as a ruler.
