Louis III of Bavaria
Louis III of Bavaria was born on August 7, 1845, and became the King of Bavaria in 1913. He was a member of the House of Wittelsbach and ruled during a time of significant political change in Germany. His reign was marked by the challenges of World War I and the subsequent collapse of the German Empire.
Louis III was known for his interest in the arts and culture, promoting various cultural initiatives in Bavaria. He abdicated the throne in 1918 following Germany's defeat in the war, leading to the establishment of the Weimar Republic. He passed away on October 18, 1921.
