Lottie Moon
Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist missionary to China in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born on July 12, 1840, in Virginia, she dedicated her life to spreading Christianity and improving the lives of the Chinese people. Moon worked primarily in Tianjin, where she established schools and advocated for women's rights.
She is best known for her role in promoting the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which raises funds for international missions. After her death on December 24, 1912, her legacy continued, inspiring many to support missionary work and highlighting the importance of global outreach in the Southern Baptist Convention.
