Lord Lawrence of the Punjab
Lord Lawrence of the Punjab, also known as Sir Henry Lawrence, was a British soldier and administrator in the 19th century. He played a significant role in the governance of the Punjab region during the British colonial period. His leadership was crucial during the Second Anglo-Sikh War, where he helped to stabilize the area and implement reforms.
In 1857, during the Indian Rebellion, Lawrence was instrumental in managing the crisis in Delhi.
