Leopoldine of Austria was born on January 5, 1797, in Vienna, Austria. She was a member of the Habsburg dynasty and the daughter of Archduke Francis of Austria and Princess Maria Theresa of Naples and Sicily. Leopoldine became known for her intelligence and artistic talents, particularly in music and painting.
In 1815, she married Prince Joseph of Saxe-Hildburghausen, strengthening ties between the Habsburg family and the Saxe dynasty. Leopoldine's life was marked by her dedication to her family and her role in the cultural life of her time. She passed away on February 8, 1826.
