Lee Bang Won
Lee Bang Won was a prominent figure in Korean history, known for being the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. Born in 1360, he was the third son of Yi Seong-gye, the dynasty's first king. Lee Bang Won played a crucial role in the overthrow of the Goryeo Dynasty and helped establish a new era in Korea.
As king, he took the throne as King Taejong and ruled from 1400 to 1418. His reign is noted for significant reforms, including the centralization of power and the promotion of Confucianism. Lee Bang Won's leadership laid the foundation for the stability and prosperity of the Joseon Dynasty.
