King Taejong
King Taejong was the third king of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, ruling from 1400 to 1418. He was born as Yi Bang-won and was the son of King Taejo, the founder of the dynasty. Taejong is known for consolidating power and establishing a strong central government, which helped stabilize the kingdom.
During his reign, Taejong implemented various reforms, including the creation of a new administrative system and the promotion of Confucianism as the state ideology. He also emphasized military strength and expanded the territory of Joseon, laying the groundwork for future prosperity.
