Langurs
Langurs are a type of primate belonging to the family Cercopithecidae. They are primarily found in the forests and grasslands of South Asia, including countries like India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Langurs are known for their long limbs, slender bodies, and distinctive facial features, which often include a black face and white fur around the eyes. They are herbivorous, mainly feeding on leaves, fruits, and flowers.
These monkeys are social animals, living in groups called troops, which can consist of several individuals. Langurs communicate through a variety of vocalizations and body language. They play an important role in their ecosystem by helping to disperse seeds and maintain the health of their habitats.
