Ladislaus IV
Ladislaus IV was a king of Hungary who reigned from 1272 to 1290. He was born in 1262 and was the son of Stephen V of Hungary. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and struggles for power among the nobility, which weakened the central authority of the monarchy.
During his rule, Ladislaus IV faced challenges from various factions, including the Cumans, a nomadic group that had settled in Hungary. Despite these difficulties, he is remembered for his efforts to strengthen the kingdom and maintain its territorial integrity, although his reign ultimately ended in instability and division.
