Laburnum
Laburnum is a genus of flowering plants in the legume family, known for its beautiful yellow flowers. The most common species, Laburnum anagyroides, is often called golden chain or golden rain. These trees can grow up to 10 meters tall and are native to Europe and parts of Asia. They thrive in well-drained soil and are often found in gardens and parks.
The flowers of laburnum bloom in late spring and hang in long, pendulous clusters, creating a striking visual display. However, all parts of the plant are toxic if ingested, containing alkaloids that can be harmful to humans and animals. Care should be taken when planting laburnum near play areas.
