Laburnum anagyroides
Laburnum anagyroides, commonly known as common laburnum or golden chain tree, is a deciduous tree native to southern Europe. It typically grows to a height of 7 to 10 meters and features bright yellow, pendulous flowers that bloom in late spring. The tree's leaves are trifoliate, resembling those of clover.
This species thrives in well-drained soils and prefers full sun. While it is valued for its ornamental beauty, all parts of the tree are toxic if ingested, containing alkaloids that can be harmful to humans and animals. Care should be taken when planting it in gardens.
