Kurdish population
The Kurdish population is an ethnic group primarily found in the region known as Kurdistan, which spans parts of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. Estimates suggest that there are around 30 to 40 million Kurds worldwide, making them one of the largest ethnic groups without a state.
Kurdish people have their own distinct language, Kurdish, which has several dialects, including Kurmanji and Sorani. They have a rich cultural heritage, including traditional music, dance, and clothing, and they celebrate various festivals, such as Newroz, which marks the Kurdish New Year.
