Kurdish forces
Kurdish forces, primarily represented by the Peshmerga in Iraq and the YPG in Syria, are military groups formed to protect Kurdish regions and communities. They have played significant roles in regional conflicts, particularly against the Islamic State (ISIS), where they gained international recognition for their effectiveness and bravery.
These forces are composed mainly of Kurdish fighters and have received support from various countries, including the United States. Their efforts aim to secure autonomy and rights for the Kurdish people, who are an ethnic group spread across several countries, including Turkey, Iran, and Syria.
