Kurdish Rights
Kurdish rights refer to the political, cultural, and social rights of the Kurdish people, an ethnic group primarily found in regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. These rights include the recognition of their language, culture, and identity, as well as the right to self-determination and political representation.
Historically, the Kurdish population has faced discrimination and repression, leading to demands for greater autonomy and recognition. Various Kurdish political movements, such as the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey and the Kurdish Democratic Party (KDP) in Iraq, advocate for these rights, seeking to improve the status and living conditions of Kurds in their respective countries.
