Kulin People
The Kulin People are a group of Indigenous Australians who traditionally inhabit the central region of Victoria. They consist of several clans, including the Wurundjeri, Boonwurrung, Taungurung, Dja Dja Wurrung, and Gunditjmara. The Kulin People have a rich cultural heritage, with deep connections to the land and a strong spiritual belief system.
Historically, the Kulin People engaged in sustainable practices such as hunting, fishing, and gathering. They utilized the diverse landscapes of their territory, which includes rivers, forests, and grasslands, to support their communities. Today, efforts are being made to preserve and revitalize their culture and traditions.
