Korean invasions
The term "Korean invasions" often refers to historical conflicts involving Korea, particularly the invasions of Korea by Japan during the late 16th century, known as the Imjin War. These invasions, occurring from 1592 to 1598, were led by the Japanese warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi and aimed to conquer Korea as a stepping stone to invade China.
Another significant event is the Korean War (1950-1953), which involved North Korea's invasion of South Korea, leading to a major conflict that drew in international forces, including the United States and China. This war resulted in a division of the Korean Peninsula that persists today.
