Kiwi Tree
The Kiwi tree, also known as Actinidia deliciosa, is a climbing vine native to China. It produces the popular kiwi fruit, which is brown and fuzzy on the outside and bright green on the inside. The tree thrives in temperate climates and requires well-drained soil and plenty of sunlight to grow effectively.
Kiwi trees are dioecious, meaning they have separate male and female plants. Only the female plants produce fruit, so at least one male plant is needed for pollination. These trees can grow up to 30 feet long and often require support, such as trellises, to help them climb.
