King Rupert of Germany
King Rupert of Germany, also known as Rupert of the Palatinate, was a significant figure in the early 15th century. Born in 1352, he became the King of Germany in 1400, although his reign was marked by political challenges and conflicts. He was a member of the House of Wittelsbach and held the title of Elector Palatine, which gave him considerable influence in the Holy Roman Empire.
Rupert's reign was characterized by his efforts to strengthen the authority of the monarchy and manage the various factions within the empire. He faced opposition from rival claimants and struggled to maintain peace among the German states. His reign ended with his death in 1410, after which he was succeeded by Sigismund of Luxembourg.
