King Hui of Yan
King Hui of Yan was a ruler of the ancient Chinese state of Yan during the Warring States period. He reigned from 337 to 311 BCE and is known for his efforts to strengthen his state through alliances and military campaigns. His leadership was marked by attempts to consolidate power and improve the economy.
During his reign, King Hui faced challenges from rival states, particularly Qin and Zhao. Despite his efforts, Yan struggled to maintain its independence and influence in the region. His reign ultimately ended with the decline of Yan, which would later be absorbed by the expanding Qin state.
