Kim Gu
Kim Gu was a prominent Korean independence activist and politician during the early 20th century. Born on August 29, 1876, he played a significant role in the struggle against Japanese colonial rule in Korea. He became the leader of the Korean Provisional Government in 1919, advocating for Korean sovereignty and national unity.
Throughout his life, Kim Gu emphasized the importance of democracy and social justice. He was known for his writings and speeches that inspired many Koreans to fight for their rights. Kim Gu was assassinated on June 26, 1949, but remains a symbol of the Korean independence movement.
