Kilo-Class
The Kilo-Class submarines are a series of diesel-electric submarines developed by Russia during the late 1980s. Designed for anti-submarine warfare and anti-surface ship operations, these submarines are known for their quiet operation and advanced sonar systems. They are primarily used by several navies around the world, including those of China, India, and Iran.
These submarines typically displace around 2,300 tons when submerged and can operate at depths of up to 300 meters. The Kilo-Class is equipped with torpedoes and anti-ship missiles, making them versatile in various naval combat scenarios. Their stealth capabilities make them effective in both coastal and open-sea environments.
