Kazcosmos
Kazcosmos, officially known as the Kazakhstan National Space Agency, is the governmental body responsible for the space activities of Kazakhstan. Established in 2007, it focuses on developing the country's space capabilities, including satellite technology, space exploration, and international cooperation in space science.
The agency operates the Baikonur Cosmodrome, one of the world's oldest and largest space launch facilities, which has been pivotal in launching various missions, including those for the International Space Station. Kazcosmos aims to enhance national security, promote scientific research, and foster economic growth through its space initiatives.
