Kataifi
Kataifi is a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made from a unique type of shredded pastry dough. This dough is similar to phyllo but is much finer, resembling thin strands of hair. It is often filled with a mixture of nuts, such as pistachios or walnuts, and sweetened with sugar syrup, giving it a rich and sweet flavor.
The dessert is typically baked until golden and crispy, then soaked in syrup to enhance its sweetness. Kataifi is popular in various countries, including Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon, and is often served during special occasions and celebrations.
