Kürtler
The Kürtler, or Kurds, are an ethnic group primarily found in the mountainous regions of Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Syria. They have their own distinct language, known as Kurdish, which belongs to the Iranian branch of the Indo-Iranian languages. The Kurdish population is estimated to be around 30 million, making them one of the largest ethnic groups without a state.
Kurdish culture is rich and diverse, featuring traditional music, dance, and clothing. The Kurds have a long history of seeking autonomy and recognition, particularly in regions where they are a significant minority. Their struggle for rights and self-determination has been a prominent issue in the politics of the Middle East.
