Joseph Bonaparte
Joseph Bonaparte was the elder brother of Napoleon Bonaparte and served as King of Naples from 1806 to 1808 and King of Spain from 1808 to 1813. Born on January 7, 1768, in Corte, Corsica, he was educated in law and became involved in politics early in his life.
As a ruler, Joseph aimed to implement reforms inspired by the French Revolution, focusing on education and legal systems. However, his reign in Spain faced significant resistance, leading to his eventual abdication. He spent his later years in exile, primarily in the United States and France.
