Caroline Bonaparte
Caroline Bonaparte was born on March 25, 1782, in Ajaccio, Corsica. She was the youngest sister of Napoleon Bonaparte, the famous French military leader and emperor. Caroline married Joachim Murat, who became a Marshal of France and later the King of Naples. Throughout her life, she played a significant role in the political landscape of Europe during the early 19th century.
As Queen of Naples from 1808 to 1815, Caroline was known for her strong personality and political acumen. She supported her husband’s reign and was involved in various cultural and social initiatives. After the fall of her brother's empire, she lived in exile and died on June 18, 1839, in Florence, Italy.
