John I of France
John I of France was a king who reigned for a very short time in 1316. He was born on November 15, 1316, and became king just after his father, Philip IV of France, died. Unfortunately, John I was only a baby when he ascended to the throne, which meant he could not rule effectively.
His reign lasted only five days, as he died on November 20, 1316. Due to his brief time as king, he is often remembered as a figure of historical curiosity rather than a significant ruler. After his death, his mother, Clementia of Hungary, served as regent until his half-brother, Philip V of France, took over the throne.
