Clementia of Hungary
Clementia of Hungary was a 14th-century noblewoman, born around 1290. She was the daughter of Stephen V of Hungary and Elizabeth of Poland. Clementia became the queen consort of Charles I of Anjou, the King of Hungary, through her marriage in 1316, which strengthened political ties between the two regions.
As queen, Clementia played a significant role in the royal court and was involved in various charitable activities. She is remembered for her contributions to the cultural and political landscape of Hungary during her husband's reign, which lasted until 1342.
