John George I, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels
John George I, Duke of Saxe-Weissenfels was a German nobleman born on March 6, 1668. He was a member of the House of Wettin and ruled the duchy of Saxe-Weissenfels from 1712 until his death in 1736. His reign was marked by efforts to strengthen the duchy's economy and cultural development.
