Anna Sophie of Denmark
Anna Sophie of Denmark was born on December 7, 1647, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was the daughter of King Frederick III of Denmark and Queen Sophie Amalie. Anna Sophie became the queen consort of Denmark when she married King Christian V in 1667.
As queen, Anna Sophie played a significant role in the royal court and was known for her piety and charitable works. She had several children, including Frederick IV of Denmark, who later became king. Anna Sophie passed away on March 4, 1717, leaving a lasting legacy in Danish history.
