Jody Williams
Jody Williams is an American political activist known for her work in promoting human rights and advocating for the ban of landmines. She co-founded the International Campaign to Ban Landmines (ICBL) in 1992, which played a crucial role in raising awareness about the dangers of landmines and led to the adoption of the Ottawa Treaty in 1997.
