Joanna of Valois
Joanna of Valois was a French princess born in 1464, the daughter of King Louis XI of France and Charlotte of Savoy. She was known for her beauty and intelligence, and her marriage to Louis XII of France in 1499 helped strengthen political alliances.
Joanna became the Duchess of Berry and was involved in the royal court's cultural life. She had a significant role in the upbringing of her children, including Catherine de' Medici, who later became Queen of France. Joanna passed away in 1519, leaving a lasting legacy through her descendants.
