Charlotte of Savoy
Charlotte of Savoy was a French noblewoman born in 1441, known for her marriage to Louis XI of France. She was the daughter of Amadeus IX, Duke of Savoy and Ippolita Maria Sforza. Her union with Louis XI in 1451 helped strengthen ties between the Duchy of Savoy and the French crown.
As queen consort, Charlotte played a significant role in the royal court, although her influence was often overshadowed by her husband's strong personality. She passed away in 1483, leaving behind a legacy tied to the political landscape of 15th-century France and the House of Valois.
