Jehoiachin
Jehoiachin was a king of Judah who reigned for a brief period around 598-597 BCE. He ascended to the throne at the young age of 18 after his father, Jehoiakim, died. His reign was marked by the Babylonian siege of Jerusalem, which ultimately led to his capture by King Nebuchadnezzar II.
After his capture, Jehoiachin was taken to Babylon, where he spent many years in exile. Despite his circumstances, he was eventually released and given a place of honor in the Babylonian court. His story is recorded in the biblical books of 2 Kings and 1 Chronicles.
